The CSU Bakersfield Fab Lab is a pioneering digital fabrication lab that serves both students and the public, located within the California State University, Bakersfield campus. Established in 2014 with support from Chevron, it stands out as the first physical Fab Lab in the CSU and UC systems, contributing to a global network of over 1,600 makerspaces. The lab is equipped with advanced tools including 3D printers, laser cutters, and vinyl cutters, allowing users to transform their creative ideas into tangible products.
