Formlabs Inc. - 3D Printing Service in Boston

Form3 printer will not print successfully anymore. Support is saying it is the tensioner which is "non-serviceable". The part is easily serviceable as evidenced by these pictures. Support recommended I buy a whole new printer. Sales would not cut me a deal on a new one. I hate to say it, but save your money and buy Chinese. If the printer is a consumable, buy the cheapest one that works for you.

Formlabs 3+ printer is junk. Failed prints after failed prints. Bad tanks, fail after 2 print. Distortion issues and all kinds of fail. Wasting hours upon hours of time and $$$$ on resin for garbage, Customer service is a total joke. They try and blame settings yet their software shows "all good" to print. Waste of money - don't buy this junk.

I have been using the Form 2 and 3 printers for almost a decade and the technology is unmatched in its class. Customer service has always been top notch. Never had a bad interaction with the company.

I have a Form 3+ and a Form 4b and both printers have been extremely reliable and continue to give great detailed prints. I've done dozens of prints on each and have yet to get a failed print.
