The Fab Lab Baltimore at CCBC is an incredible makerspace in the Baltimore County area. Their staff is very knowledgeable and they have top of the line equipment right next to the machine shop at CCBC. They have all the best design and modeling software accessible at any of their many computer with a range of materials you can buy if you come empty handed. It's fast and easy to schedule on the website and they will walk you through any of the more complicated machines. Start a new hobby project! Check them out!

The Fab Lab is a great and affordable community resource! The space is well-equipped and the folks there are very knowledgeable. An intro class is required before using the lab. After that, you can use the laser machines & vinyl cutters. Other equipment like the 3d printer and CNC requires additional instruction. I was working on a laser project and the lab manager, Geniia, was incredibly helpful. It's always nice to have someone else to bounce ideas around when working through something. I would highly recommend this space if you're interested in learning about digital fabrication in a friendly and welcoming environment!

Fab Lab Baltimore is a great maker space. For those who don’t want to invest in all the expensive machines, the Fab Lab offers 2 lasers, a full size CNC machine, 3D printers, and other tools that can be used to create items that you design and create! I’ve been using this location for a few years now. Their online site is good and they offer a real-time calendar to see available times and schedule dedicated times to for your own use. The staff has always been very helpful and i really wish I had more time to use this facility to make more items.

FabLab Baltimore is a fantastic resource! The shop has laser cutters, CNC routers, and an array of 3d printers. It is located on the CCBC campus in Catonsville but is open to the community at large, not just CCBC students. Many short classes are offered that walk you through the basics of both creating a design and operating the machinery to make your creation come to life. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to point you in the right direction through your design and production phases. The shop follows the CCBC schedule - closed days the campus is closed - but is open during COVID with reduced capacity and enhanced cleaning.

The Fab Lab is a great maker space resource open to the public! It's located within CCBC Catonsville in the Health Careers and Technology building. (Entrance is marked by a blue awning, once you enter, go straight down the hallway and you'll see it at the end of the hallway on the right side). I think it's one of the most affordable maker spaces around to access and they usually have great availability to reserve time on machines. The techs are also super nice so you can get a lot help if you need it.
