I've been going to Ecovate since I first found their original shop downtown Raleigh. Really glad to see them expand! These people are the absolute best: friendly, incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. When they don't know something, they find out who does. It's great to walk into a shop and have the staff know what I'm interested in before I say anything. Oh, and they carry a wide selection of filament, printers, and parts. Always solid advice. I had a bad extruder clog today and Noah showed me how to pull out the sensor to clear it. The Bambu site didn't explain that! And verified the fix on one of their own printers. Now I'm up and running again. Oh, and they have meetups one Saturday a month. That always brings in interesting people to learn from and bounce ideas off of. What a great thing to have a 3D printer store in town!
I just purchased a Bambu Mini at Ecovate3D and took some beginner classes. What a great and knowledgeable staff!! Looking forward to more meetups and getting more cool filament colors!
I remember walking into the previous location back in 14 Glenwood, I was met with a rainbow haired and glittering woman (Beverly the owner). As a young woman, who loves resin 3D printing, I felt the welcoming atmosphere and accepting presence especially in a male dominated industry. Ever since, I’ve basically followed Ecovate to its new location and I’ve been regularly coming into the shop for materials for my business and using the space to create and learn. P.S. My cat is always loved and taken care of when we visit!!
I commissioned folks at Ecovate to print some things for me, and they were so incredibly helpful and accommodating. They're all extremely knowledgeable about all things 3D printing, and they've become my go-to source for filaments or printing advice. I can't recommend them enough.
Omg! We not only got a 3d printing store in Raleigh, but the staff is amazing too!!! Seriously this place is great. They have a great selections they’ll order anything they don’t have in stock. If you have any printing questions, they’re the ones to ask. If you’re new to the hobby, this is where you want to go. If you’re not new: this where you will buy far too much filament because you can’t resist.
