Makelab | 3D Printing - 3D Printing Service in New York

I had a prototype made at Makelab. When I ordered it the email stated it would be reviewed for “manufacturability” before it was approved for 3d printing. I contacted several places to have it manufactured and they say it cannot be. So I just contacted Makelab and they said it was approved for printing. But that’s not what the word means. So if you have an invention that you may want have manufactured , do not start here. Apparently they do not know the definition of manufacturability

Great service. 4 stars only just because the public on social option which is in auto every time you 3D print something and you have to just say NO all the time is a thing that you guys should remove. I will upgrade my review to 5 stars as soon as I don't see this public on social. The reason why is that, we 3D print parts or core parts of important project and privacy is a must. Read off of "public on social" please.

Makelab helped bring a design I had to life. They are great to work with. Jiwon and Vi were always there when I had a question and always responded promptly. I would highly recommend MakeLab and their team.

MakeLab is a great gem that I discovered while researching for alternative 3D printing service provider that is local to me. I am a self-taught digital jewelry designer and the service and quality of my castable resin prints from them have been superb! I was able to take it to a local casting house and prototype them in precious metal all within 1.5 weeks. See the finished product pics below. They have a very fast responding team. My questions, no matter how random, have been answered usually within the same -1 business day. Probably the New Yorker in me, I appreciate that a lot. I've gone to their office to pick up my orders and from what I gathered, the staff really seem to be passionate about what they do and were happy to talk to me about my designs. Definitely a place you want to check out if you are doing any 3D printing.

MakeLab is my go-to place for my 3D printing projects! Even with COVID restrictions, MakeLab still made it super easy to pick up my 3D printed parts. Best prices I've seen so far and my parts we're ready earlier than I had expected! Everything fit great so I'll def be back there soon!
