I have only great things to say about Evology! I'm part of a collegiate Formula SAE team at UW-Platteville, where we're constantly pushing the boundaries of engineering. We've utilized Evology’s DMLS services to manufacture an oil pan for two of our vehicles. This year, the oil pan is being used as a stressed member of the chassis, and the additive manufactured aluminum pan has proved to be a perfect for the application. Additive Manufacturing is the future! My team, Pioneer Racing FSAE, had a project that required the use of a DMLS machine to produce a critical component of a racing vehicle. Not only was there a rapid turn around time on this part, but it was delivered to us in exceptional, flawless quality. We tried manufacturing this part in house by developing an investment casting of this piece. Upon comparison, Evology was able to deliver us a much more beautiful and functional part in a quarter of the time it took us to develop the investment casting pattern, let alone cast it, and finish the piece.
